As many people have discovered to their dismay, it is not enough to have a good Halloween costume, and good Halloween makeup ideas are needed for it to be successful. You also need quality Halloween makeup ideas that complement and complete the great costume you bought or created for yourself.

There are several aspects of makeup, and not everything fits with every costume. Below is a list of several Halloween makeup ideas that can be used by a busy Halloween fan.

The Zombie

The zombie look is one of the most popular Halloween looks, and rightly so because it brings out the full effect of Halloween. Zombie makeup has two aspects, namely that the person must look bloodless, but at the same time have mutilated body parts that have a considerable amount of blood and gore. This would mean that a large part of the person’s skin would have to be painted white, with some selected body parts showing blood and gore.

The Vampire

Vampire appearance must combine dignity with danger, as vampires are popularly regarded as an extremely deadly, though highly evolved, race. Therefore, you must make sure that the costume you make is noble enough. Along with the costume, you should look extremely well-groomed but pale. At the same time, you should add the fangs, which are the trademark of the vampires. A little blood on the lips would complete the look. The vampire look should depend on subtlety, so the refined and well-groomed look combined with the canines and blood on the lips would surprise any viewer.

Third Witch

The witch’s gaze is very popular among adventurous and enthusiastic women. For this look to work, you must put on a yellow and, if possible, dirty face. Complement this dirty and sickly look with a false pointed nose and several moles, which are artistically placed on the nose, cheek, and perhaps also on the chin.

Fourth Devil

As with all Halloween makeup ideas, the devil is in the details. This statement is true because when it comes to the devil’s makeup, the devil is in the details. To get the devil’s look, you need the red skin, the forked tail, and these canines, among other things. However, the detail that really brings out the devil in you is the pointed facial hair and eyebrows. If you have a French beard, your appearance will be even more pronounced.

To get a makeup that matches the outfit you’ve planned, all you need is some common sense. For example, you can produce blood by combining common household elements such as corn syrup, water, and food coloring, or if even that is difficult simple tomato ketchup.

Plus, you can achieve any look you want by paying attention to detail and imagining what the real character looks like. Another example is the Jack Sparrow character, where you only have to add dirt, dark areas under the eyes and braids to the royal costume.
