Thanksgiving crafts for kids can be simple and easy. Here are some projects you can start with.
Turkey Thanksgiving hands and feet

What you need:

Craft paper in autumn colors
blurred eyes (optional)

Have children trace their hands on different colored construction paper. (Young children may need help with this step)

On brown paper, children have their feet drawn (with shoes)
Cut off all hands and feet.
Glue two pieces of the foot together so that the heels overlap slightly. This creates the body.
For the tail, glue the hands with the fingers overlapping at the top in a semi-circle on a piece of craft paper so that they look like tail feathers.
Then paste the “body” on top of the feathers.
Then you can add some eyes and some feet.
You’re done!

The Thanksgiving crown:

This would be great for the whole family.

Whatever you need:

Construction paper.
Nuts or knobs
Before dinner, everyone should track down and cut off their handprints.
You also have to cut a circle from a poster (for the crown).
During dinner, each person can indicate what they are grateful for and write it in their handprint.
While the adults clean up, the children can put their hands around the poster wreath.
Add a few large nuts or buttons as the center of the wreath and that’s it!
Good luck and a long and happy Thanksgiving.
